Due to the nature of the mission of InterServ, all staff is expected to perform other duties as assigned.
Job Summary Manages Mobile Meals Program including client intake, route management and supervision of volunteer drivers.
Works under the supervision of Director of Senior Nutrition Essential Job Functions - Responsibilities 1.
Interview, evaluates and accepts clients into the program.
2.
Maintains record keeping system on clients and meals delivered including home delivered and special route clients.
3.
Analyzes and develops route plans to meet requests for services and availability of volunteers.
4.
Supervises and trains new volunteers to deliver meals and schedules their assignments.
5.
Is a resource contact person for information to the public about the program.
6.
Works with Director of Senior Nutrition in development of budget and maintain program within budget.
7.
Assist Director of Senior Nutrition with billing and collecting from clients.
8.
Delivers route(s) when necessary.
9.
Answers and returns phone calls related to Moblie Meals program.
10.
Schedules and completes home delivered initial assessments.

Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent 2.
Licensure:
N/A 3.
Experience:
Minimum of six months of clerical experience and experience in dispatch and/or route planning.

Essential Technical/Motor Skills:
Ability to operate a computer, typewriter, etc.
Ability to operate a vehicle 5.
Interpersonal Skills:
Good communication skills, empathy and understanding for situations clients are experiencing.

Essential Physical Requirement:
Ability to move containers for meal delivery, able to move around a variety of obstacles to get into client's home.
Able to move 50 pounds.
Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
Ability to position self to access upper and lower shelves, cabinets, and files as needed.
Ability to ascend and descend stairs.
7.
Essential Mental Abilities:
Good literacy skills, basic math and bookkeeping skills, organization of volunteers and route scheduling, public speaking, ability to do basic computer record keeping.

Essential Sensory Requirements:
Ability to communicate with others.

Exposure to Hazards:
Unrestrained animals, slick sidewalks and steps during seasonal weather.
May be occupational exposure to blood or other infectious material as defined by OSHA, as well as cleaning supplies and chemicals, and communicable diseases 10.
Other:
Valid Missouri Driver's License, provide own transportation.
Ability to pass a background screen conducted by InterServ and MO Dept of Health and Senior Services, including but not limited to, Family Care Safety Registry.
