The House Manager shall follow the Direct Support Professional Job Description in addition the roles, responsibilities and procedures listed below.
The primary responsibility of the House Manager shall provide direct support individuals with disabilities.
Additionally, the House Manager shall be responsible to complete quality assurance, programmatic and administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
The House Manager shall have experience in completing administrative tasks such as the organizing, scheduling, planning, and coordinating of people, records, events, appointments, medication refills, etc.

The House Manager must understand the companies' policies and procedures.
The House Manager must maintain a full-time work schedule with CareGivers.
Qualities Required:
The House Manager must demonstrate flexibility, versatility, experience in the field as a DSP, have a valid driver's license, demonstrate professional behavior, be an excellent communicator, demonstrate and knowingly show and support commitment to the CareGivers Philosophy, Mission and Vision.
The House Manager must be a mentor and team player.
The House Manager will commit to NOT asking anyone to do something that the House Manager would not do.
Hours:
Each House Manager shall be assigned to work at least 40 hours per week.
Time and 1/2 will be paid after 40 hours of work in one week.
A House Manager assigned to a home which supports more than 1 person will manage all clients in the home.
House Manager will participate in a rotating on call shift with all other House Managers and your PM.
Responsibilities:
Tasks to be completed for the week shall be determined by the CSS and communicated to the House Manager in advance.
The House Manager shall be responsible for the following duties:
1.
Complete accurate and timely financial paperwork.
2.
Ensure records are up to date.
3.
Ensure Medications Administration Records are accurate; medication ordering, and other medical duties are completed.
4.
Review pass down checklists to ensure they are completed, to include audits of the money, EBT cards and gift cards kept at the home on each day worked.
5.
Conduct safety drills and inspections monthly.

6.
Review daily documentation and follow up when needed.
7.
Mentor all new DSPs to ensure the CareGivers philosophy is adhered to, CareGivers rules, policies and procedures are followed, and people are being supported to live as independently as possible.
8.
Ensure monthly corporate vehicle checks are completed.
(Only applies to homes with company vehicles.
) 9.
Ensure fire drills are completed and documented including required overnight drills.
Ensure disaster drills are completed in compliance with the Disaster Policy.
10.
Assure all paperwork is up to date and in the home.
11.
Ensure incident reports and daily progress notes are completed by the end of each day.
12.
Ensure hours of support are covered by PM for the home and post a weekly schedule.
13.
Facilitate weekly staff meetings if needed.

Provide on-call services 15.
Speak with the PM weekly and report to the PM tasks that have been completed, have not been completed or where further assistance is needed.
16.
Ensure the coordination of medical appointments for people living in the home.
17.
Attend PCP appointments and other meetings.
18.
Ensure self and DSPs complete any training required or asked off them.
19.
Ensure self and staff are scheduled, notified and attend requires trainings such as L1MA, CPR, and DE-Escalation, prior to expiration.
20.
Any other tasks set forth by the company within reason.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to clients and other employees of the organization.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Good health and consistent attendance Appropriate manner, conduct, and grooming While perfmorming the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to fingers; and handle objects.
The employee must regularly life and /or move up to 20 pounds, and occasionally lift/ or move up to 50 pounds.
