Ag Processing Inc a cooperative (AGP) is hiring an Accountant in St Joseph, Missouri. Transferring to one of our Iowa or Nebraska plants within a short time is very likely.
Our Accountants prepare accurate and timely mid-month and month-end production workpapers and prepare and analyze financial statements & reports.
While managing chemical inventories and calculating usage, the Accountant maintains the assigned capital and expense project reports and records. Other duties include completing physical inventories, reconciling assigned balance sheet accounts and assisting team members with daily tasks.
Position requires BS in Accounting. Must be proficient in Excel and Oracle experience is preferred. General ledger & account reconciliation experience helpful. Option for occasional overtime exists.
