SECURITY SPECIALIST (TRAINING SPECIALIST) (TITLE 32)

MILITARY REQUIREMENTS:
Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is an Excepted Service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership. Selected candidate will be required to be in a compatible military assignment prior to effective date of placement. Selected candidate must be AFSC qualified within 12 months from date of appointment. Enlisted - AFSC 3P0X1 Supervisor must verify that selected individual occupies a compatible military position. Technicians will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor or wage leader (grade inversion). GENERAL
Experience:
Must possess experience, education, or training that demonstrates your ability to follow directions, to read, understand, and retain a variety of instructions, regulations and procedures; possess skill in collecting and analyzing data effectively, efficiently, and accurately; possess the ability to clearly enunciate English without impediment of speech that would interfere or prohibit effective two-way radio or telephone communication; possess the ability to write English in reports and presentation formats; possess the ability to communicate orally and in writing clearly and effectively; possess the ability to assess body language and perceive immediate risk levels; possess skill in applying procedures and directives by reading and interpreting technical material. GS-09 SPECIALIZED
Experience:
Must possess 12 months of specialized experience which demonstrates your ability to serve as a subject matter expert in managing a Security Forces program to include Air Expeditionary Force (AEF) deployments, formal training programs, and emergency management; provide guidance and recommendations to the higher headquarters on aspects of Security Forces programs for military personnel management, budget and management; and analysis, training, and training resources for personnel. The specialized experience must also indicate your experience in commonly used methods, procedures, regulations and other guides that relate to training programs within the applicable Security Forces career field; skill to apply analytical and evaluative techniques to the identification, consideration, and resolution of program related issues and problems; develop, analyze, and evaluate security training programs to meet mission requirements and improve the security-training program for the installation; skill and competence to instruct training courses in a classroom seminar setting; and knowledge of applicable law enforcement and military security, along with Federal and DoD rules, regulations, instructions, practices, principles and procedures including force protection, integrated base defense, anti-terrorism and physical security.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
