POLICE OFFICER (TITLE 32)
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS:
Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is an Excepted Service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership. Selected candidate will be required to be in a compatible military assignment prior to effective date of placement. Selected candidate must be AFSC qualified within 12 months from date of appointment. Enlisted - AFSC 3P0X1 Supervisor must verify that selected individual occupies a compatible military position. Technicians will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor or wage leader (grade inversion). GENERAL
Experience:
As a National Guard Title 32 Dual Status applicant, must possess a validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the occupational series and grade of this position. GS-06 SPECIALIZED
Experience:
Must possess knowledge of practical security force (SF) activities in direct support of the military weapon systems and physical security; law and order; or area security operations; work experiences in law enforcement, maintaining law and order, preserving the peace, and protecting life and civil rights within the jurisdiction of civilian/public areas or military installations; protecting federal property from hazards such as sabotage, espionage, trespass, theft, fire, and accident or willful damage and destruction; and responding to disaster and relief operations and participates in contingencies. Completion of the Security Forces (SF) Apprentice Course is mandatory. Must have been awarded an entry level Air Force Specialty Code (AFSC) of 3P031.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
